You can play Loftia Demo on Steam now, as of October 23, 2026. The paid game, simply titled Loftia, is scheduled to enter Early Access on November 3, 2026, at 1 p.m. EST. Downloading the demo does not purchase the full game.
Choose the right Steam listing
Both listings name Qloud Games as developer and publisher. Use the title and app number to tell them apart:
| Listing | Steam app number | What it gives you |
|---|---|---|
| Loftia | 2320980 | Main game listing, currently awaiting Early Access release |
| Loftia Demo | 5315310 | Free, limited-time Steam Next Fest demo |
On the main game's store page, look for Download Loftia Demo. The separate demo listing uses Install Demo. These are the routes to the currently playable preview; the main game's planned release date refers to paid Early Access.

What you can play before release
The demo ends on October 26, 2026, at 1 p.m. EDT: 17:00 UTC, or October 27 at 1 a.m. in Beijing and Shanghai. The English schedule runs October 19–26, while the Chinese schedule lists October 20–27 because of the time difference.
The preview covers the opening Loftia City questline, farming, resource salvaging, decorating a home in a shared neighborhood, group Adventures, social minigames, and the first World Project. It ends before entry into the Hanging Gardens, and proficiencies are capped at level 5. These limits are part of the demo's scope.
Keep your progress for Early Access
Completed quests, collected items, character progression, and your character name are intended to carry into Early Access. Link your email address on the in-game character-select screen, then log in to the Loftia website to check your rewards. Unlinked rewards and progress cannot be recovered by the team.
The free demo does not make the paid game free. Early Access has a US base price of $29.99 and an announced 17% launch discount to $24.89, with regional pricing. Loftia also requires an internet connection, including when you choose to play mostly by yourself.
Controller and Steam Deck expectations
The launch plan includes controller and Steam Deck support. The Steam listing currently labels controller support as partial and Steam Deck compatibility as unknown. Treat the developer's support plan separately from a Steam Deck Verified rating, and use the demo to judge your own device before buying.
