Scrambled Coordinates can drop when you harvest any resource node in the Loftia demo. If Ryder is asking you to find them, keep gathering resources while that quest step is active. There is no confirmed single node or fixed map coordinate you must visit.
The October 21 patch increased their drop chance during Ryder’s relevant quest step. A few unsuccessful harvests do not, by themselves, mean the quest is broken.
Gather resources during Ryder’s quest step
- Check that Ryder’s current objective is asking for Scrambled Coordinates.
- Harvest resource nodes as you explore Loftia City.
- Check your collected items and quest progress as you continue gathering.
Look for Scrambled Coordinates among your collected key items.
Because the item is a chance-based drop, switching to a supposed guaranteed location is not a supported shortcut. No reliable drop percentage or required number of harvests has been confirmed. Continue collecting materials you can use rather than expecting every node to give you the quest item.
Buy replacements for later Adventures
Cella’s Key Shop lists Scrambled Coordinates for 30 Dew. If you already have access to that shop, it is an optional way to restock for later Adventures. For Ryder’s initial gathering objective, gather the Coordinates yourself. Use shop purchases for later restocking rather than as a substitute for that introductory task.
Check the chest prerequisite separately
The Daily Goodies Chest is another source of Scrambled Coordinates, but its Coordinates and Bloom rewards unlock only after you finish Ryder’s introductory Adventure quest. If that introductory quest is still unfinished, the chest is not a dependable way to bypass your current search.
The patch changed both the quest drop chance and the chest prerequisite. Those are separate rules: resource-node drops help with the relevant Ryder step, while the chest’s expanded rewards depend on completing the introduction.
If the objective still will not move
Make sure your demo installation has the October 21 update. If you already have the requested item and Ryder’s objective remains stuck, report the objective text and what you have collected through the game’s bug-report channel. A failed random drop and a quest that does not acknowledge an item need different follow-up.
