To visit a friend’s neighborhood, first make sure you are playing on the same server and that your friend is online. Loftia’s neighborhood tutorial uses the balloon at the Dome as the route to a friend’s island.
That balloon route appears in beta-era tutorial data. It is a useful navigation reference, but an invitation flow or permanent house move in the current demo has not been confirmed. Visiting a friend and moving your own house into a chosen neighborhood are different goals.
Find the balloon at the Dome
- Ask your friend which server they are using and make sure you are in the same one.
- Have your friend stay online while you travel.
- Go to the balloon at the Dome and check the destinations available for visiting friends.

The visiting-friends tutorial shows another player at a neighborhood home; the current travel controls may differ.
If you expected to see your friend nearby but cannot, compare your server choices before repeatedly travelling between islands. Loftia allows server changes; sharing a game account platform alone does not establish that you are in the same server.
If your friend’s island is unavailable
Confirm that your friend is still connected and that you are using the balloon’s visiting route rather than simply returning to your own neighborhood. The exact friend-list controls and invitation button labels are not confirmed here, so use the options displayed in your build.
The October 21 known-issues list also records crashes when groups travel to player islands. If that is what happens, treat it as a housing-travel issue and report the crash with your character names and server. It does not prove that your friend declined a visit or that you need to replace your character.
