Use the Architect Station in your neighborhood to change your house’s exterior appearance. Demo players direct exterior-color questions to this station, rather than to furniture placement inside the house.
If the station is locked, you need to address its unlock first. Milo’s It’s On the House quest takes you through his shop and then back to the neighborhood for the Architect Station tutorial.
Find the house-appearance station
- Travel to your neighborhood.
- Look for the Architect Station in the central area; players place it near the delivery bin.
- If it is available, open its house-appearance options and choose from the exterior options shown by your game.

Find the Architect Station in the neighborhood for exterior changes; this tutorial image shows a house exterior.
The exact color picker, confirmation button, available palette, and any material or currency cost are not confirmed here. Check those details on the station before committing a change. Do not assume that every color seen on another player’s house is already available to your character.
If you see a lock instead of options
Check your active objective in It’s On the House. The tutorial includes meeting Milo beside the Architect Station and using it to customize your house. Repeatedly interacting with the locked object is not a verified way to open it.
The demo ends its story before the Hanging Gardens, so reaching that district is not an established requirement for changing the outside of your house.
Keep exterior and interior edits separate
A question about the outside walls or overall house appearance belongs at the Architect Station. Moving furniture indoors is a different action. If you are already in a furniture-placement view but cannot find the house’s exterior options, return to the neighborhood station rather than searching each indoor item’s controls.
